Women of Color Productions: “Juneteenth”

Women of Color Productions, Inc. is a non-for- profit theater company located in New York City. The company performs and produces outstanding plays that deal with human rights and woman’s issues. This clip features portions from the play “Juneteenth” Juneteenth is a wonderful play about the celebration of Juneteenth. It was two and a half years after President Lincolns Emancipation Proclamation when news broke that the war had ended and the enslaved were now free!
